Greetings from HRANI!

This is to inform you that with the efforts of HRANI, the Ministry of Tourism has extended the validity of Approval/Classifications of Hotels and other accommodation units till 30.04.2021. All the Hotel establishments can now renew their classification till 30th April of 2021. Previously, the grace period was valid until December 31, 2020. The copy of the order is attached with the mail.

The Association has requested for extension six months in the wake of non-opening of hotels in the country due to prolonged lockdown, night curfew including weekend lockdown in few states. The letter submitted by the association also mentioned that the hotels and restaurants have been facing low occupancy, lack of minimum business for viability due to limited International flights and domestic flight operations, restriction on tourist movement and non-uniform quarantine rules in some of the states.

HRANI is thankful to Sh. Yogendra Tripathi, Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India and the team of the Ministry for easing the hospitality industry during this crucial time of COVID 19.

HRANI under the guidance of our President Mr. Surendra Kumar Jaiswal has been taking up industry concerns with various departments of the Central and State government through representations for relief in this period of crisis.
