The Uttar Pradesh Housing & Development Board, under the aegis of the Government of Uttar Pradesh, announced a significant initiative of offering of hotel plots in the Greenfield Township of Ayodhya through e-auction. The move comes amidst the vibrant atmosphere in Ayodhya following the grand inauguration of the Ram Mandir, drawing a surge in tourist footfall. By offering hotel plots, the government aims to foster an environment conducive to tourism growth, thus propelling the hospitality industry forward.
A virtual meeting with stakeholders was recently convened by the Housing Commissioner to discuss tourism infrastructure in Ayodhya. HRANI and UPHRA were also invited for the same. Mr. Surendra Jaiswal, President of UPHRA, Vice President of FHRAI, and Honorary Secretary of HRANI, Ms. Renu Thapliyal Secretary General HRANI and other hotel members participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, the Commissioner briefed that the township ensures seamless connectivity, with the airport merely 7.8 kilometers away, the renowned Ram Mandir at a distance of 4.5 kilometers, and railway access within 2.8 kilometers.
Additionally, it is conveniently adjacent to the bus station. Emphasizing an inclusive township model, the project aims to prioritize efficient social infrastructure and accessibility to urban services.

The initiative prioritizes planning principles that focus on flood resilience measures, crucial during monsoon seasons, along with the provision of lower and higher-order functions and services.
This endeavor underscores the commitment of the Uttar Pradesh government to provide excellent infrastructure and amenities, further enhancing Ayodhya's appeal as a premier tourist destination.
