I am forwarding you the trailing mail received from FHRAI in regard to ADVISORY: Interaction with the CEO Niti Aayog - Passing on of the GST Benefit.

CEO, Niti Aayog, Government of India had called for a meeting with all Associations in the tourism industry including FHRAI, and travel bodies on October 22nd, 2019.

The Agenda of the meeting was to discuss the recent incentives announced for the Tourism sector and that the industry should demonstrate an action plan taking into account the positive changes made by the Government, especially the reduction in the GST, to support the hospitality industry.

Member (s) are requested to kindly adhere to the compliances and extend the GST benefits accordingly, making India a cost competitive Tourist destination in comparison to other countries.
