This is to inform you please that FHRAI and other Associations had an E -meeting on 8th April, 2020 at 11.30 a.m. with Shri Sudhanshu Pandey, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.
Ministry of Commerce & Industry mentioned on the need to have inputs on the following in the next 48 hours:-
- What Global Relief Packages have been given by various countries for Hospitality and Tourism, which the Ministry of Commerce & Industry can compare with, in order to help in making a decision.
- Where all would the Industry like to see Government intervention for immediate relief (i.e. how the Government could help or provide relief for the Sector) in the short term i.e. in the next 30-60 days.
- Where all would the Industry like to see Government intervention (i.e. how the Government could help or provide relief for the Sector) in the long term i.e. after 60 days and for a longer time frame.
- Please treat this as urgent and revert on eatosg@fhrai.com by latest 11.00 a.m. on 10th April, 2020.
- Please reply in your email with separate inputs on the above 3 points, under the heads (1) Global Relief Package (2) Short Term Relief (3) Long-Term Relief.
