In its on-going efforts to facilitate the members of HRANI to align with Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) regulation, the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Northern India (HRANI) organised Food Safety Supervisor Training Session on Monday, November 13, 2017 at Shervani Hilltop, Nainital.
The event was organised free of cost for its members with the help of its Managing Committee Members from Uttarakhand; Mr. S.M. Shervani, Managing Director, Shervani Hospitalities Ltd and Mr. Parveen Sharma, CMD, Chevron Hotels & Resorts
The Food Safety Supervisor Training in Advance Catering Programme is meant for catering establishments where the systems are complex and the need for dedicated personnel for food safety and standards is imperative. The session has been attended by the food handlers from member establishments of HRANI. The faculty of these session comprised of eminent trainers Sh. Sanjay Kumar, Executive Chef, Shervani Hospitalities Ltd who is also a Master Trainer certified by FSSAI. The session also witnesses the presence of Ms Pritha Tripathi Scientist (IV) (Training) from FSSAI.
FSSAI has been empanelled HRANI as a lead training partner for northern region. The association has lined up series of training session in the month of November to facilitate and help its members to comply with FSSAI regulations.
