Q2. What privileges do I get after becoming the member of HRANI?

Ans. Being the member of HRANI entitles you to membership privileges which are given as under:

  • Every member of the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Northern (HRANI) is entitled to the membership of the Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Association of India (FHRAI), which is a National Association.
  • The members of FHRAI can avail a discount of 30 % on Membership Discount Card in hotels and restaurants all over India in membership’s establishment. The members can also list their establishments in the Hotel & Restaurants Guide approved by the Government of India.
  • The members can avail of concessional HRD Training Programmes for their employees.
  • Members also get special mention in the in-house publication – HRANI Hospitality which gives them appropriate exposure.

 

Q3. How HRANI contributes to the development of the hospitality industry in India?

Ans. HRANI works in tandem with the government in promoting the cause of the tourism in India. Given under is the sneak preview as to what HRANI does to promote the cause of hospitality in India.

 

  • The Association with its liaison with the local, State & Central Governments & allied agencies, acts as an effective link between the different segments of the tourism industry for achieving common objectives.
  • The Association conducts training programs, activities & recommends implementation of conclusive/ resolutions reached at seminars & conventions to the appropriate authorities.
  • The Association conducts studies and sends out informative circulars on various aspects of the industry. It also comes out with a quarterly newsletter - HRANI Hospitality.
  • The Association provides detailed analysis & guidance in respect of policies and procedures affecting the industry.
  • The Association has a continued dialogue with various authorities for arriving at solutions on various practical problems which surface during the operations of hotels & restaurants.
  • The Association provides platform to its members for interacting with each other during its meets and seminars and thus acts a networking agent.
  • The Association works in tandem with various government departments for approval of schemes and the policies.

 

Q 4. Who all are the members of HRANI currently?

Ans: HRANI represents wide cross section of hoteliers from across Northern India. The members of HRANI currently include the well known names in the hospitality industry like Oberoi’s, ITC Welcome Group, Taj Group, Inter Continental New Delhi, Meredien, Hyatt, Jaypee Group, Radisson, Claridges, Crowne Plaza Surya, Ambassador, Mc Donalds, Ruby Tuesday, Rodeo Group, Nirula’s Kwality, Haldiram’s & Pizza Hut. The medium and the small level hotels, which are also the members of the association, are given equal opportunity to safeguard their interests along with bigger names.
